The Luby-Jenkins School-Pairing Program has created important relationships between two Mongolian and two American high schools, which include annual exchange of visits and extensive year-round curricular and extracurricular activities. One of the American high schools is located in the Navajo Nation. The program is named in honor of the late Nancy Luby, the much-loved former chair of the UB-Denver Sister Cities Commitee, and Walt Jenkins, President of the Zorig Foundation USA, who founded the program. The Khan Bank of Mongolia has been a key supporter from its inception. The Gala Dinner on October 16 includes a V.I.P. reception, special tours of the exhibit and a highly entertaining party with live music, performances, and a special Wrestling Showcase featuring Mongolian wrestlers, NAMBC Vice Chairman and Honorary Consul of Mongolia Jim Wagenlander and other muscular local citizens in matches to be refereed with impeccable fairness by Colorado political leaders.
